Flagship chips now ship with neural engines powerful enough to run capable assistants entirely offline. Expect phone makers to lean hard on features like live translation, smart photo editing, and context-aware summaries that work without an internet connection.

Displays keep getting better and cheaper

OLED panels have finally reached mainstream price points in laptops and monitors. If you have been waiting to upgrade, this is the year the premium display tax effectively disappears.

Add in faster charging standards, more repairable hardware driven by new regulations, and genuinely useful smart-home interoperability, and there is a lot to look forward to. We will be covering all of it as it lands.
