Apple will once more reveal a complete portfolio of flagship iPhone later this year. Although it may feel like the iPhone 17 Pro is still relatively new, it has been five months already.
There are still some exciting changes slated for the 18 Pro, but the iPhone Fold sounds like the most intriguing of all the speculations.

Rumors are always rumors, particularly when they start almost a year in advance. According to one Weibo leaker, Apple is mulling over introducing three more color options to the 18 Pro: burgundy, purple, and brown.
Ironically, they believe that even though black is the color that most people would prefer to see on the 18 Pro, it will still not be an option. However, it sounds like the 18 Pro will feature a lot more color!
Diminishing Dynamic Island: The Dynamic Island on the iPhone has not altered in size since its inception in 2022, despite the bezels getting substantially narrower.
This year, it looks like that will change as Dynamic Island gets a little smaller. The ability of some Face ID components to move beneath the screen is largely responsible for this.
A hole punch cutout was proposed in prior guesses, but it doesn’t appear to be happening.
Improved cameras.
The iPhone 18 Pro is the subject of two big camera rumors.
First off, an even superior telephoto lens may be installed on both versions. The f/2.8 telephoto lens that the 17 Pro currently offers has been standard for a time.
Although they don’t disclose details, leakers predict that the iPhone 18 Pro will feature a bigger aperture.
Furthermore, Apple is contemplating adjusting the primary sensor’s aperture, at least for the 18 Pro Max.
Users will have more freedom and depth control when photographing throughout the day thanks to this.
Apple modem.
The main reason for this is that mmWave 5G was not supported by Apple’s initial generation of modems.
The 16e and iPhone Air were the first to use Apple’s in-house modems last year, but the other iPhone models have not yet joined up.
However, the iPhone 18 should change that. The C2 chip should be used in all iPhone models this year.
The fact that Apple’s modems are significantly more efficient, leading to far longer battery life without substantially larger batteries, is one major benefit of that transition.
Furthermore, according to some sources, Apple’s C2 modem may be able to offer 5G connectivity through satellite, providing you total access to data even when you’re not near a cellular network.
Currently, sending SMS is the major function for satellite connectivity.
Additionally, Pu describes three forthcoming chips for the Pro series. The smartphones will be powered by the A20 Pro, which will be made using a revolutionary package design and TSMC’s first-generation 2 nm technology.
In the 17 family and the iPhone Air, the N2 chip will replace the N1 chip, which manages Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread compatibility.
Although the N2’s upgrades are still unclear, it is believed to offer increased wireless performance and/or battery savings.
Lastly, the 18 Pro and Pro Max should get the C2 modem. With the C2, Apple’s in-house modems will finally join the mainstream Pro family.
Up until now, the C1 modem was exclusively utilized in the 16e and the C1X in the iPhone Air. This will make the C2 remarkable.
The iPhone 18 may be unveiled with the 18e next spring, while the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are predicted to be introduced in September along with the iPhone Fold.
The A20 Pro chip.
Apple will be delivering fresh, state-of-the-art silicon, as is the case with practically every new iPhone.
Anticipate considerable performance and efficiency increases with the new A20 Pro chip, which will be the first to embrace the new 2 nm technology.
Similarly, after releasing the N1 in the 17 series last year, Apple may offer an updated networking chip with the N2.
At this moment, we don’t have any further information on N2.
A bigger battery.
Finally, the 18 Pro will have a battery that is even bigger than the iPhone 17 Pro. This may sound apparent, but Apple has occasionally reduced the battery capacity of its iPhones between generations.
