Discover the cutting-edge features and sleek design of Samsung’s latest Z Fold 8.
Here are the specifications and a first glance at the Galaxy Z fold 8. Indeed, I have some thoughts regarding this. Now let’s get started.
Thus, the first glimpse at the Z Fold 8 utilizing the official CAD renders was leaked. To be honest, it resembles the Z Fold 7 perfectly. I mean, exactly the same.
The camera bump has been slightly adjusted, which is the only noticeable difference. It now has the transparent layer that is somewhat similar to what we
observed on the S26 Ultra. There are a few little variations in the thickness aside from that. It is supposedly thinner than the Z Fold 7 when unfurled, measuring 3.9 mm, yet it is really thicker when folded, measuring 9 mm. Indeed, that seems a little paradoxical.
It doesn’t really add up to be thicker while closed yet thinner when open. I won’t read too much into these figures just yet, especially because the Fold 7’s measures from last year’s leaks weren’t totally correct either. Thus, in terms of design,
Apart from possibly some new colors, don’t anticipate much new this year. However, this time Samsung appears to be concentrating more on some significant internal upgrades than exterior appearance, so it’s not a dull upgrade.
In terms of charging, they have been using 25 watts for years, which is absurd for a phone this expensive, but that is finally changing. According to China’s 3C certification, the Z48 can charge at 45 watts. Currently, on the one hand,
Although that’s a positive development, it still feels a step behind. There isn’t really a good reason for Samsung to hold back when the S26 Ultra is already pushing 60 watts.

However, even at 45 watts, the Fold’s total charging time from 0 to 100 could still be competitive due to its dual battery arrangement. Additionally, the battery capacity will be upgraded to 5,000 milliamperes.
Additionally, the same certification listing has verified this. Thus, that portion is almost set in stone.
Regarding the SPEN, Android headlines suggested that Samsung would revive it by adding a digitizer layer beneath the display, although it is mostly conjecture based on the increase in thickness.
Personally, I don’t think it will occur. It’s quite doubtful that we will see the SPEN here because Samsung has previously stated that they want to bring it back, but not with a digitizer, and they aren’t doing it for the S27 Ultra.
The privacy display is the same. Given that the Fold has two screens, Samsung would have to
it on both, which would greatly raise the price. Additionally, it doesn’t appear feasible at this time considering the high cost of components.
The introduction of an anti-reflective display does appear more likely. Since Samsung already utilized it on the Z Trifold cover screen, it’s quite likely to be used here as well.
However, I believe that it should be added to the inner screen, where reflections, particularly outside, make the crease appear worse. This leads us to the actual crease. The
Samsung claims that the Z Fold 8 will have a creaseless display. In contrast to prior years, this is more than conjecture. Samsung has already demonstrated this technology.
Other companies, such as OPPO, are already showcasing their version of a zero crease on their most recent foldable, and during their launch, they are even making fun of Samsung and the Fold 7 by comparing them side-by-side.
However, in actual use, Oppo’s foldable display still exhibits a small, noticeable wrinkle in some lighting situations. Thus, the entire zero
It is a little deceptive. Although Samsung’s version will be superior, it won’t be precisely flat either, let’s face it.
The crease is already not a major concern for most people at this time, with the possible exception of intense sunshine, and this should very much eliminate even that.
If the light strikes exactly right, you’ll still notice it faintly. The Fold 7’s 12-megapixel ultrawide camera has been upgraded to a 50-megapixel one. Similar to the S26, the 3x telephoto is also undergoing updates.
Expect some sensor cropping, Ultra. However, there should be a minor improvement in overall image quality.
Additionally, a new display safety feature has been included. Similar to what we saw on the Z trifold, the phone will vibrate to inform you if something, such a small object, is on the screen as you close it.
Additional improvements include the newest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, a larger vapor chamber for improved cooling, and a new hinge mechanism.
Additionally, there are yet no renders of the Z Fold 8 wide model that Samsung is developing. However, I’ll keep you informed.
The crucial element will be the cost.
Although it’s impossible to tell at this time whether the Galaxy S25 Edge would have been more successful at a starting price of less than $1,100, it wouldn’t have hindered its prospects of being popular.
In a similar vein, it would certainly be prudent for Samsung to set different prices for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Wide, particularly if the former has some advantages over the latter.
Although the price of the iPhone Fold is still unknown,
Samsung should take all necessary steps to make the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide as inexpensive as possible because everyone anticipates that the device will sell millions and millions of units by the end of the year, regardless of its list price. It’s the only option.

The design feels premium and futuristic, though it won’t be a huge visual departure from the previous model.
Amazing good opportunity and very useful for the all peoples in the world
However, the article also honestly points out that expectations for a big redesign might be premature, as most reports suggest Apple could save major design changes for future models. This balanced perspective adds credibility and avoids overhyping rumors.

If the Series 12 looks the same, Apple needs software and health tracking to make the difference. Otherwise, it risks feeling like just another yearly update with very little excitement.
